Deserving Students Are eligible For Loans And Scholarships At Public Universities. Government loans and bursaries will be provided to all needy and vulnerable college and university students, says Geoffrey Monari, CEO of the Universities Fund.
According to Monari,this will apply to all needy students selected to enroll in public universities, which currently total 130,485. This includes students who do not have ID.

According to the Director of University Funds, 9,622 students registered in various private colleges across the country would also benefit from the new government loans and scholarships.

The state will provide funding to students based on their family situation and the cost of their academic programs.
Students will be compensated based on their need in one of four categories, including vulnerable, high need, needy or less needy, according to a statement from President William Ruto.
