The authority failed to provide. Detailed information on cyber security efforts to combat test fraud, especially on platforms such as Telegram, Signal, Whatsapp and Facebook.
He ordered the National Communications Service to come back with a more detailed report on the test failure. He said, the information provided by the CAK and DCI is not accurate and requires accurate details of the identified probationers, the charges against them and the outcome of the proceedings.
CA Director General Ezra Chiloba acknowledged the challenge of deleting social media accounts linked to exam cheating, saying platforms such as Telegram and Signal do not have the legal authority to delete accounts without the cooperation of service providers.
Noting that the committee is serious about dealing with the problem of national fraud, he asked for specific information about the people involved in the errors, names, ID numbers and crimes. The board will prepare a comprehensive report on exam cheating in the country after further discussions with the relevant authorities.
