KCPE, KPSEA candidates know their results after Christmas KCPE and KPSEA candidates who took the exam last month will get their results after Christmas.
Marking of the KCPE Essay and Composition paper starts this week and will take two weeks to complete.
Knec has issued an invitation letter to teachers who have applied for the 2022 KCPE and KCSE exam appointments.
The invitation letter starts on November 30, 2022 after the completion of the KCPE and KPSEA exams.
Knec has invited KCPE and KCSE examinees to apply online from 25 November to 5 December 2022.
For KCPE, the examiner will mark English composition and Kiswahili Essay paper. In the last KCPE examination held in March 2022, the marking of papers took two weeks.
However, there will be no manual marking for the KPSEA Grade 6 exam. Because there are no written essays such as Composition and Essay.
Essay and composition papers accounted for forty percent of the final Kiswahili and English papers respectively.
About 1,268,830 Form 6 students sat for the KPSEA exam, 1,230,000 candidates took the KCPE exam, and about 880,000 for KCSE Form 4.
Knec, however, has changed the reporting date for KCSE examinees because many teachers are still supervising and encouraging the ongoing KCSE exam. The report date has been changed to January.
