KUCCPS 2023/2024 Cluster Points and Method of calculation
What do cut-off points mean?
KUCCPS 2023/2024 Cut-Off Points and Method of calculation. Cutoff points and how they affect student selection for higher education institutions have been explained by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) (Universities, Colleges and Tvets). This is your chance to learn about the Cut off points for various courses whether you are applying for Kuccps courses or making changes.
After all candidates for the course have been rated according to their cluster weights, the cut-off points are the marks (cluster weight) of the last student to enroll in the course at the university.
Cut-off points are only accessible when applicants have been assigned and have enrolled in college or university.
These cutoffs are based in large part on candidates’ performance in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams, which are evaluated annually.
As a candidate, you get access to the cut-off scores from the previous four years, which you can use to determine how competitive a course is.
CLUSTER POINTS CALCULATION METHOD
Those eligible for different courses can affirm from the site when they insert the grades of required subjects.
The calculation is subjected to an approximation error of plus or minus 2.
