KUCCPS Degree Programs Requirements Reviewed as the Students Portal Opens
KUCCPS Degree Programs Requirements Reviewed as the Students Portal Opens. The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has changed the eligibility standards for candidates to be placed in different degree programs.
According to recent changes, only students who received their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 2022 will be eligible to enroll for degree programs when the application process opens.
In contrast, only the courses provided by Technical and Vocational Education and Training centers (TVETs) are open to students who have already taken the KCSE exam.
Additionally, this placement board made it clear that candidates must submit their applications for the courses within the timeframe designated for the year of their KCSE exams.
According to Kuccp’s response to some questions submitted by applicants, it is evident that once the site was made available for the submission of applications, all Kenyans should be able to access it.
Additionally, the Kuccps hiring agency revealed that it has plans in place to launch the application online.
Additionally, its portal/website will shortly announce the official application dates for degree and diploma programs.
The KCSE applicants from the previous year would still have the opportunity to apply for their desired degree and diploma programs months after the release of the KCSE results by current Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
All of the 2022 KCSE Examination results were released in mid-January 2023.The incumbent CS. Machogu then gave KUCCPS.placement instructions to start preparing for the admission of KCSE graduates to tertiary schools of learning.
In response, Dr.Agnes Wahome, chief executive officer of the KUCCPS placement agency, stated that, given the data provided by universities, the process of placing students in colleges and universities takes time.
But the CEO assures students who did KCSE 2022 to keep checking and selecting courses of their choice.
