Seven Opportunities at Four Public Universities Announced by the Public Service Commission Now. According to the Public Service Commission (PSC), attractive job opportunities have been created in four public universities in the country.

Honorary Vice Chancellor positions have recently been announced at Maasai Mara University and Kaimosi Friends.

Additionally, Kaimosi Friends University is looking for a qualified Vice Chancellor for Finance, Administration and Institutional Development.

In addition, Chuka University is advertising two Vice-Chancellor positions in areas such as administration, finance, planning, development, academic research and students.

Kibabi University is accepting applications for the position of Vice Chancellor for its commitment to academic excellence and student welfare.

Candidates who wish to learn more about this exciting job opportunity are advised to visit the Job Board website at www.publicservice.go.ke.

The news comes after the Presidential Workers’ Party for Education Reform (PWPER) proposed major changes to how universities elect their chancellors and vice-chancellors.

The PSC’s involvement in appointing high-level university management has caused complex governance issues in public universities as a result of this reform.
