The minimum educational requirement for those interested in applying for the job of chairperson is a PhD from an accredited institution in the nation.
According to the Ministry of Education, “the candidates for the position of chairperson should have proven experience in leadership and management and satisfy chapter six of the constitution.”
Candidates for the role of council member must be masters degree holders from accredited universities. Executive masters holders won’t be admitted.
Those drooling over these positions must make sure they are in compliance with Chapter 6 of the Constitution.
Those who are employed as public workers or who are active members of any university council are discouraged from applying, the government made plain.
The Commission of University Education (CUE) requires applicants to submit copies of all diplomas, certificates, and degree certificates they have received from international universities and other institutions.
