TSC Gets Closer To The Final Of Teacher Promotion Program. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will close applications for the September promotion by September 8, 2023.
After the board closes applications, it will begin interviewing teachers in their districts.
Some teachers who have been transferred from their workplaces have expressed concern after facing difficulties during the application process.
Teachers still have TMIS data showing them at their previous school. Their TPAD is also in the old school.
Teachers must submit their 2020, 2021 and 2022 TPAD scores in the online application.
You do not need to print the previous TPAD report

Log in to your TP TPAD account.
In Control Panel, go to APPRAISALS, then APPRAISAL.

Print the report and have it stamped by the head of the office. Save it for use in promotional chats.
The transferred teachers want TSC to finalize the TMIS mix to allow them to apply for advertised posts like their counterparts.
Below is an advertisement by TSC in August 2023 for teachers to apply online.
In August, the board announced 36,275 posts for teachers from job groups C1 to D5.
Vacancy Principal, Principal, Principal, Representative Head, Senior Teacher, Senior Teacher, Second Teacher, Professor, Professor and Senior Teacher.
The Teachers Service Commission is a constitutional body established under Article 237(1) of the Constitution.

Interested candidates who meet the required qualifications must submit their applications online through the TSC portal – www.teachersonline.go.ke for admission by 8 September 2023.
Manual applications are not considered.

APPEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
To teach this class, the teacher:-
I. Served as CEO of T-Scale 14 for at least three (3) years;
ii. Satisfactory evaluation of supplier evaluations and performance contracts;
iii. Supervise, mentor and provide professional support to other teachers;
iv. In accordance with the requirements of Section Six (6) of the Constitution; and
v. Comply with other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
NB:- Candidates are eligible for the post of employees who have served at least 2 years in the original and current grade

APPEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
To teach this class, the teacher:-
I. Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Assistant/Vice Principal of School I, T-Scale 13;
ii. You receive a satisfactory rating in the manufacturer’s evaluation process;
iii. Supervise, mentor and provide professional support to other teachers;
iv. In accordance with the requirements of Section Six (6) of the Constitution; and
v. Satisfy any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

iv. In accordance with the requirements of Section Six (6) of the Constitution; and
v. Satisfy any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

APPEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
To teach this class, the teacher:-
I. You have worked as a Deputy Director or Senior Master II T-Scale 11 for at least three (3) years;
ii. You receive a satisfactory rating in the manufacturer’s evaluation process;
iii. You have demonstrated the ability to provide supervision, guidance and expertise.
