KNEC Issues Briefing Programme Per county, Check Dates. The Ministry of Education (Ministry of Education) has organized several briefings and workshops for field officers responsible for monitoring the upcoming national exams. District Education Officers (SCDEs) have been instructed to elect assembly seats for October 2 to October 6, 2023.
This information comes from a memorandum dated September 9, 2023 and signed by the Chief Secretary of Basic Education Belio Kipsang.
SCDEs who will conduct this briefing have also been instructed to invite various officials including the District Examination Officer, Container Examination Officer, Deputy District Commissioner, Assistant District Commissioner (where applicable), KCPE, KPSEA and KCSE Center Manager. Inspectors of KPSEA, KCSE and KCPE, District Police Commander (SCPC), Security Officer in charge of Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit (CIPU) and TSC Subdistrict Director.
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has set October 27, 2023 as the practice date for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and the Kenya Primary School Assessment (KPSEA) examination. The KCPE and KPSEA exams themselves will be held between October 30 and November 1, 2023.
As for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams, they are scheduled for October 19, 2023. The KCSE exam will end on November 24, 2023 with the Physics practical paper. For more information, see the district summary schedule below.
