Professor George Magoha, who served as the former education cabinet secretary and was known as the “Father of CBC,” has passed away.
Magoha passed away just as he was getting ready to bury his lately deceased sibling.
After experiencing a cardiac arrest, he passed away in the hospital in Nairobi.
According to the official who was citing a family member, Magoha had been ill as a result of high blood pressure and other health issues.
He had been ill, but today he had gotten worse, the man claimed.
Old Starehe Boys member Magoha served as vice chancellor of the University of Nairobi, where he earned the nickname “Bufallo” for his strictness.
In the administration of former President Uhuru Kenyatta, Magoha was the Cabinet Secretary for Education.
Prior to his appointment,Magoha was heading the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) which he joined from the University of Nairobi where he was serving as the Vice Chancellor.
