Principal Secretary For TVET Addresses Anonymous Letters Alleging Incompetence. The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Secretary General Dr Esther Mworia has confirmed receiving an anonymous letter claiming she is an incompetent government employee.
She was speaking at the annual directors’ conference for public and private teacher training institutions in Mombasa on Monday.Mooria said that the writer of the letter should identify himself or the mark to know its origin.
She also said that if another anonymous letter was written, it would still be admissible and he wanted to reiterate his position that he was not upset.
However,Mooria said that if the sender is convinced, they should consider signing the error and revealing their identity as the author. This will allow for a constructive dialogue regardless of differences. He says it’s important to tell the truth, even if it’s not easy to accept.
“Some people send me anonymous emails, and I’m not good at that… Oh. But I’ll say it again: you’re better off writing someone else; “I’m not complaining,” he said.He said threats and intimidation did not affect him and they were normal.
Muoria said threats, hate and similar emotions should be expected. However, he recommends a more constructive and friendly approach for everyone who wants to participate in the conversation.

She also said he did not inform the police because of other responsibilities.He said that normally, given his workload, he would not bother to report such matters to the CID, but would treat them with indifference.The PS asked the principals and teachers to help provide the best education for TVET students.
She said he has a mandate and will ensure its implementation. He offered to join hands to make it a reality.
