TSC Vets Teachers To Be Involved in Invigilating and Supervising National Exams
TSC Vets Teachers To Be Involved in Invigilating and Supervising National Exams. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) recently concluded a painstaking screening process that screened a total of 223,223 teachers who were appointed to serve as invigilators and invigilators during the upcoming national examinations.
The announcement was made by TSC CEO Nancy Macharia, who also highlighted another major development: the selection of 37,731 instructors to play key examiner roles.
In the upcoming trial period, center administrators will bear the key responsibility. Their task consists in the safe collection of test documents, which must be carried out with the utmost care and strict adherence to test protocols. To streamline this operation, TSC has deployed an impressive workforce of 71,760 center managers.
These individuals will actively participate in the sub-regional briefing sessions to be held nationwide by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) in the first week of October 2023.
Macharia also highlighted a key policy: annual staff turnover. To ensure that invigilators or invigilators from the previous year’s national examinations are not detained, only center directors and their representatives will be required to be physically present in schools during the examination period.
Nancy Macharia concluded by reaffirming the unwavering commitment of TSC along with the commitment of its staff and teachers to provide comprehensive support with the common goal of ensuring that the upcoming national examinations are conducted with great success.
