As many as 15 schools in Bungoma district failed in the examination from the examination center after the two national examinations started.

The Kenya Certificate of Basic Education and Assessment of Kenya Primary School Examinations (KPSEA) for the sixth form exams started across the country on Monday.

Speaking to the media at Bungoma DEB Primary School on Monday, Bungoma South DCC Duncan Okwach said that the examination in Bungoma County has started with a bang despite the fact that 15 schools did not participate in the examination.

“I am happy that the exam started with high marks. “We have not faced any problems and the police officers are monitoring compliance with all the test guidelines,” he said.

Kwach praised secondary school principals for working well with primary schools and using school buses to help with school exams.
