19 Greatest University Courses Chosen by KCSE A-Grade Students. About 454 students who scored A in last year’s KCSE exam were selected for the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program.
According to KUCCPS data, the pharmacy will enroll 111 students, the second highest number of students.
As the most popular tertiary program, Computer Science will admit 90 students.
Architecture and Architectural Studies will admit 61 students, Civil and Construction Engineering 54 and Electrical and Electronics Engineering 52 students.
Dental Surgery 39 students, Nursing 34, Clinical Medicine 33 and Aeronautical Engineering 29 will be accepted to compose 10 courses chosen by the students.
Bachelor of Law and Mechanical Engineering will admit the top 26 students, while Mechanical Engineering will admit 21.
Top students will also enroll in Nursing and Public Health (15), Undergraduate Radiography (13), Software Engineering (10) and Quantitative Research (5), while Biomedical Engineering, Microbiology and Biotechnology will attract four students each.
Last year, about 1,152 students scored A in the fourth level national exam.
These students will be the first to benefit from the new university funding model announced by President William Ruto in May and will be implemented in September.
