Term structure 2024
The school year begins on January 8, 2024 with the first semester.
Term 1: 8 January 2024 to 8 April 2024 (13 weeks).
Term 2: 29 April 2024 to 2 August 2024 (14 weeks).
half term break: June 20 to June 23.
August holidays: August 5 to August 23.
Term 3: 26 August 2024 to 25 October 2024.
long holiday: October 28, 2024 to January 3, 2025.
Exam dates
There will be no KCPE (Kenya Certificate of Primary Education) examination next year.
Instead, students will sit the KPSEA (Kenya Primary School Education Assessment) and KILEA (Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment) exams from October 28 to October 31.
The KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) examination will run from November 4th to November 22nd.
