KUCCPS Opens Portal for Second Revision of Courses
KUCCPS Opens Portal for Second Revision of Courses. Tomorrow, June 16, 2023, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placements Service (KUCCPS) will launch the site for the second revision of degree-granting courses as well as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The state agency stated that the portal would be shut down on June 27, 2023 in a post on its official website.
Candidates for the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) were not chosen for the courses in their initial revision, and those who did not revise their course selections are asked to login and reapply.
The 2022 KCSE exams saw 869 782 applicants through www.kuccps.net
A total of 230,000 students obtained spots in Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutes, while 173,129 students received direct admission to universities.
39 public institutions, 33 private universities, three teacher preparation colleges, and 205 public TVET colleges are listed on the KUCCPS portal.
Each course’s price, which varies depending on the institution, is listed so that applicants may account for the cost their families will have to pay for their courses.
