The several classes that were authorized, together with their postal addresses and locations, were enumerated by KCAA in a statement.
The East African School of Aviation, Kenya School of Flying, Standards Aviation and Flight Training Centre, KQ Pride Center, Think Aviation Training, Flitestar Academy, and Mt. Kenya Flight School are among the institutions that offer aviation training.
Additionally, there are the following companies: Ninety-Nines Flying School, Proactive Air Services, Aerolink Flight Centre Skymax Aviation Ltd, Aerosafe African Consultants, Nairobi Flight Training, Westrift Aviation Ltd, Capital Connect Aviation Supplies, and Pegasus Flyers (EA) Ltd.
Private Pilots License, Commercial Pilots License, Airline Transport Pilot Licence, Instrumental Rating, Flight Operations and Dispatch, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence, and Flight Instructors Rating were among the certifications offered by KCAA.
Wilson Airport, Malindi Airport, Nyaribu Airstrip, Orly Airport, Old Airport Road, KQ Headquarters, and Nanyuki are the locations of the institutions.
In order to maintain a high level of expertise in the aviation sector, the KCAA also publishes a list of approved training organizations (ATOs) twice a year.
The KCAA includes a State Safety Programme (SSP) office. To ensure that all aviation activities achieve the highest degree of safety performance and adhere to both national and international standards, it is their responsibility to develop, implement, and continuously improve strategies and processes.
The news was released a few days after students were given the option to select and modify their classes by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
Candidates were urged by KUCCPS to make the necessary modifications before June 7, 2023.
The Education Cabinet Secretary stated, “I have asked the KUCCPS to open the portal so that students can start applying for courses they want to take in universities and TVETS,” adding that all the information was correct.
