Asumbi Girls’ High School Teaching Vacancies. Asumbi Girls High School is a National located at Homabay County. Asumbi Girls is a boarding school and among the oldest school in Homabay County headed by Chief Principal Sati Linet Pino.
In the past KCSE Examinations, Asumbi posted an exemplary good performance posting a mean of 10.341. All the 434 candidates registered scored a mean grade of C+ hence acquiring a direct entry to the University.
Early this year the Government initiated the mass employment of teachers countrywide to Junior Secondary, bring a deficit of teachers in Asumbi Girls High School. A meeting held by the school administration and Board of Management resulted to a decision of employing new teachers, to seal the gap left.
Asumbi Girls High School, of the recent years has shown a positive increase in population of girls since the are selected uniformly countrywide. Since the school’s aim is to nurture and adequately empower the girls both academically and socially, there is need for adequate number of teachers.
Therefore from different departments, the following are the subject combinations for application;

Requirements for Application
- Must be a Kenyan Citizen
- Must have a TSC Number
- Should be competent and able to work under minimum supervision
- Must have a valid certificate of good conduct
- Must have a KRA pin
- Should be ready to perform duties assigned to him or her
