Category of University whose Graduates are Most Preferred in Job Market. In Kenya’s competitive job market, attending the “right” institution can help you stand out. Some employers will be more interested in where you received your school, even if the bulk of businesses seek out graduates with experience, innovation, leadership, etc.
Several sources claim that Kenyan companies frequently hire young graduates after speaking with alumni of the institution in question in the past.
According to a 2020 CPS International report titled “State of Graduate Employability in Kenya,” graduates from the University of Nairobi (UoN) are the most in-demand on the job market.
The fact that many senior executives hail from the University of Nebraska helps to partially explain this. The institution was recognized as the top university with the most employable graduates, with an employability index of 38.6%.
