How to check your TSC Number online

How to check your TSC Number online. You must have a TSC Registration Certificate in order to be authorized to teach in any Kenyan school, according to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). Keep in mind that this obligation applies to all teachers in both public and private schools. Your TSC number, which is a special number given to teachers who apply for registration certificates, is included with your registration certificate.

It is advised that you apply for the registration certificate as soon as you graduate if you plan to look for work with TSC. This will allow you to receive the certificate on time.

How do you find out if TSC has registered you?

The Commission will process your request and respond to you within 30 days of receiving your online application. It is crucial to regularly check online to see how your application is being processed.

You may occasionally receive notification that your application has been reset and your original documents must be sent again. Do not delay; simply scan and send your original documents once more.

Rarely, TSC may choose to decline your application. If this is the case, the commission will explain its decision within 30 days. You must be aware of the factors that could cause TSC to decline your application. These consist of:

    • Lacking the necessary academic and professional credentials.
    • Being of questionable moral character, that is, having committed a sexual offense or an offense against a learner.
    • Being ineligible to teach due to a criminal offense conviction.
    • If it is established that you participated in actions that were deemed harmful to Kenya’s peace, stability, or good order.
    • Having a medical or mental condition that prevents you from performing your job as a teacher.

How to check the progress of your TSC registration online

You must continue to check the status of your registration online, as previously mentioned. Why can’t you do this? Well. It is incredibly easy. The steps are as follows:
