Confirmed KNEC Finally Pays KCSE 2022 Examiners. Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has begun paying invigilators and supervisors for their efforts during the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.
Payment was delayed due to the procedure of reconciling data from attendance registers. This led to uproar among the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) Examiners for 2022 KCSE Examinations.
Many had started losing hope that they may eventually miss to be paid their dues. Several platforms and social media teachers have been on record complaining some even promising to Boycott the exercise in the next National Examination.
Primary school principals serving as center managers will be paid KSh500 per day for four days, while secondary school principals will be paid KSh500 per day for eighteen days.
The highest paid supervisor will be paid KSh12,510, while the highest paid invigilator will be paid KSh9,860.
However, deputy head teachers, deputy principals, and science instructors in charge of practicals during the exams will not be compensated.
For the examinations, a total of 286,000 professionals were hired.
The pay date for 2022 KNEC supervisors and invigilators has been set for June 17, 2022.
