Education Reforms Report to be Released Today. Today marks the release of the long-awaited report of the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms [PWPER].
The event will be presided over by President William Ruto.
On Monday, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu stated that they are going to be more reforms in education sector including the proposed New Higher Education Financing Model.
He stated that the report includes various recommendations in the education sector.
However, the CS did not provide any information about the report, stating that the president will reveal them.
“We will release the Presidential Working Party report tomorrow.” “There is a lot in that report as we embark on reforms in various sectors of education,” Machogu remarked.
“Quite a few recommendations have been made, including the first, which was most critical of locating our Junior Secondary School in the existing Primary Schools,” he added.
Ruto was named to the Presidential Working Party on Education Reform.
PWPER has been traveling the country gathering feedback from individuals, public and commercial organizations, interested parties, and stakeholders in order to inform its conclusion on education reform in Kenya.
