The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released new guidelines for candidates who will be taking the technical and business exams.
On Tuesday, September 6, the KNEC issued a statement announcing that all exam registrations would be done on-line through its website, www.knec.ac.ke.
The National Examiner, explained that the registration process for the November 2022 Business and Technical Examinations was finished, while the registration process for the 2023 Exam will follow a new schedule.
Below are the key dates for exams and projects for the Business and Technical Examination period in 2022 and 2023;
The registration of institutional candidates, including Business Single and Group subjects, started on June 27 and will continue until July 31, 2022.
According to KNEC,the deadline for submitting project and course work assessment (CWA) grades, was October 28, 2022.
On October 12, 2022, candidates will receive their Advance Instructions (Practicals).
The examiner also stated that planning for the practical hospitality exams would begin on October 26 and that the dates for the theory and practical exams will be October 31 through November 25 of 2022.
Candidates were also informed that the first milestone entry will take place from August 5 to August 15, 2022.
Business and Technical examinations are categorized under Post School examinations.
These are professional examinations offered to candidates who have completed primary and/or secondary school education, they are offered twice a year; in July and November.
