KUCCPS Latest Update on Entry Grade to University 2023. In her testimony before MPs, Agnes Wahome, the CEO of KUCCPS, made the disclosures.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced that anyone with a C+ will be admitted after weeks of discussion regarding who will be admitted to the university.
Agnes Wahome, CEO of KUCCPS, stated in front of MPs that there is sufficient space for all students who earned a C+ or higher.
She told the MPs that 194,000 people might be accommodated in public facilities.
Since we have extra space, any pupils with grades higher than C Plus will be admitted, she stated.
In 2022, 173,000 pupils passed the KCSE exams with a C+ or better, qualifying them for government sponsorship. All the students who scored above C+ in the last year KCSE 2022, are highly anticipating to join various universities.

The application and revision portal for courses has not yet been made available, though. Once the system is operational, students will be able to change the courses they originally applied for.
