KUCCPS Opens Portal for Diploma in PTE Applicants
KUCCPS Opens Portal for Diploma in PTE Applicants. Candidates who match the qualifications may now submit applications for open jobs in Teacher Training Colleges (TTC) using the online application site that has been launched by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), according to an announcement.
Candidates who took the Kansas Comprehensive Secondary Examination (KCSE) between 2020 and 2022 are eligible to apply for colleges by July 28, 2023, but not later.
Both the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) and the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) programs are available to students who enroll in the institution.

These revisions have resulted in modifications to the DPTE and DECTE entrance standards.
To be considered for the post, applicants need to maintain a grade point average of C (plain) and send Ksh 1,500 via Mpesa to KUCCPS. It is no longer necessary for several topic cluster grades to have previously been at least a “plain” C.
The previous criterion of five subjects is no longer taken into account for placement in TTC, and a candidate is now permitted to enroll in a teaching program as long as they achieve the standards of a mean grade of C (plain).
A list of 35 distinct teacher education programs is available for placement on the KUCCPS website.
Previously, in order to be taken into consideration for TTC admissions, applicants had to manually complete and submit application forms. These processes were previously managed by the ministry at the county offices. TTC admissions, however, have only done so through the KUCCPS site twice before.
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) offers loans to students enrolled in TTC, just like it does to students enrolled in TVETs and universities.
