KUCCPS portal is Open for 2022/23 candidates, Requirements, cluster calculations method, deadline . Today, CEO KUCCPS Dr. Agnes Wahome onfirmed that KUCCPS is officially open and candidates of 2022/23 can comfortably log in and apply for courses of interest.
Students can log in to the student site, apply for their top-choice courses, check minimal requirements, revise their course selections, choose their universities, and then download placement letters.
In a message, KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome stated that the application date will be February 22nd, 2023.
The institution with the opportunity of accessing KUCCPS in Kenya includes;
- 204 TVET colleges including the 17 colleges that are under various government departments,
- 3 secondary TTCs,
- 32 primary TTCs and
- 69 universities.
KUCCPS Minimum Requirements For Application
C+, C-, D (plain) for craft certificates, D- (minus) for artisan certifications, and lower are the minimal qualifications for entrance to degree programs.
Government-sponsored student placement is only open to Kenyan citizens, and both merit-based and affirmative action norms are applied.
Dr. Wahome invited all suitable individuals to apply for placement regardless of their KCSE exam results.
Each candidate for the KCSE will have the ability to choose their preferred courses from the following list;
All candidates are encouraged to apply at each of the four levels. Yet, people should only pick courses in which they have sincere interest. No field is necessary.
Method of Cluster Points calculation
Different courses offered in different institutions required different cluster points. For a candidate to make an application for a course or revise he/she should have calculated the cluster points.
