Latest TSC Changes See More Directors Transferred
Latest TSC Changes See More Directors Transferred. As part of its reorganization to provide better services to teachers, the Teachers Service Commission has proceeded to move more Sub-County Directors (SCDs) to new stations.
William Kipchomus, who was once the Butere SCD and had been relocated to Teso North, has had his transfer to the new station withdrawn as a result of the recent changes.
He is now traveling through Nakuru County’s Molo Sub-County. The post was unfilled because there was no SCD working in the region, according to Education News.
Dombi Shivachi, who had been in charge of the Borabu Sub-County in Nyamira County, was also transferred in the changes announced by Gabriel Mathenge, Director of Operations for the TSC.
He will present himself at Bungoma at Bumula. Additionally, the Sub-County was functioning without a SCD. Paul Bii, who hails from Kandara in Murang’a County, will take the place of Shivachi.
Bii had lately replaced Catherine Mathenge, who had been reassigned to Kitui West, in Naivasha in Nakuru County. His re-posting to Borabu, however, suggests that his petition was taken into consideration.
Previously the SCD in charge of Sameta in Kisii County, James Simiyu Wanyela has relocated to a Sub-County in Western Kenya.
At the time of going to print, Education Highlights was unable to determine his precise whereabouts with any speed.
Nelson Ngare, who moved from Nyando to Marakwet West in Elgeyo Marakwet County, is also transferred.
He had previously been relocated to Bumula in Bungoma County, but the TSC appears to have caved in to pressure and brought him to Marakwet as a result of opposition from local authorities to his transfer to the area.
Everlyne Chemjor, who was relocated to Bungoma County’s Tongaren Sub-County, will be replaced by Ngare.Kipserem Lagat, the Lari SCD in Kiambu County, is also impacted by the changes.
He currently travels to Kuresoi North to report. Another station that lacked a SCD was this one.
Education Highlights previously stated that Jane Muturi, who oversaw Kamukunji/Makadara in Nairobi County, had moved to Lari to take his place.
Jackson Mutai has taken over Muturi’s tasks in contrast, and he now has additional duties in addition to managing Kasarani, which has been his station.
