Mwalimu Sacco 100M Sponsorship to 250 Students
Mwalimu Sacco 100M Sponsorship to 250 Students. According to Joel Gachari, the national chairperson of the Mwalimu Sacco, the Sacco has paid over Ksh 100 million to sponsor 250 students in secondary and higher education institutions.
Gachari claimed that the Sacco specifically chose the students from its departed members who were intelligent and in need across all of Kenya’s counties.
According to Gachari, “Mwalimu Sacco’s goal is to be concerned about the educational advancement of our children, which is why we sponsor them to raise their academic standards.”
Speaking during a Busia County KESSHA academic session at the Nuru Palace Hotel in Nakuru City, Gachari stated that as a Sacco, they were worried about the students’ development in their education.
According to him, the programme began in 2016 and has already benefited numerous kids.
In order for the Sacco to take action and include these talented children in their sponsorship programs, he used the occasion to ask administrators to submit the names of those students who need help to continue their studies.
The Chairperson advised newly hired teachers to join the Sacco in order to take advantage of the Sacco’s varied services.
