The Teachers Service Commission, TSC has implemented several strategies that have always been teacher oriented with the ultimate goal of achieving higher levels and attainable goals.
According to TSC Deputy Director General Ken Mulunda, TSC will offer a color scheme that is easily compatible with the new standards and will provide a new look for instructors that can help in effective supervision and other enforcement activities among TSC employees in the future.
Recent reports indicate that previous predictions about teacher uniforms are now accepted and may soon become a reality.
Since the Ministry of Education introduced the bright yellow color for school buses, the system has been working smoothly and now every school bus can be easily identified from a distance and schools can track the movement of their buses wherever they go.
This has led TSC to easily adapt to the new standards and give teachers a new look that can help with effective supervision and other work performance practices among TSC staff from January 2023 onwards.
The Ministry of Education and the Teacher Service Commission (TSC) are being discussed by stakeholders to create an idea that will not hold teachers captive in their own game, the proposal is still on the table.
This may be a standard gesture for some schools that already have staff uniforms, but each school usually prefers to choose its own color as agreed with the school concerned.
The introduction and implementation of teacher uniforms by TSC can be implemented very soon. Discussions are ongoing between the Ministry of Education and TSC. The new rules will come into force in 2023 after further consultation.
