TSC 2023 Advert For Deputy Headteachers, Senior Teachers And Masters. Article 237 of the Constitution established the Teachers Service Commission. Its duties include selecting and assigning institutional managers.
For the positions listed below in the ASAL and Hard-To-Staff Counties/Sub-Counties of Baringo (Baringo North, Tiaty East, Tiaty West, and Marigat Sub-Counties), Garissa, the Commission is accepting applications from teachers who are Senior Masters, Senior Teachers, and Deputy Head Teachers in accordance with this mandate. Homa Bay (Suba and Mbita Sub-Counties), Isiolo, Kajiado (Mashuuru, Loitoktok and Kajiado West Sub-Counties), Kilifi (Magarini and Ganze Sub-Counties), Kitui (Mumoni, Mutitu North and Tseikuru), Kwale, Lamu, Mandera, Marsabit, Narok (Narok South, East, West and North Sub-Counties), Samburu, Taita Taveta, Tana River, Turkana, Wajir and West Pokot).
By June 2nd, 2023, interested parties who have the required qualifications should submit their applications online through the TSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke. Applications submitted manually won’t be approved.

SENIOR MASTER IV (C4/T-SCALE 9) – 26 POSTS ADVERT NO. 37/2023
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
To be appointed to this grade, a teacher must: –
i. be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Principal at T-Scale 8 (C3);
ii. have received a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
iii. satisfy the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and
iv. satisfy any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
SENIOR TEACHER II (C2/ T-SCALE 7) -10 POSTS REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT: ADVERT NO. 38/2023
A teacher must meet the following requirements to be appointed to this grade:
i. be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Head teacher at T-Scale 6 (C1);
ii. have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
iii. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and
iv. meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER II (C4/T-SCALE 9) – 69 POSTS REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT ADVERT NO. 39/2023:
A teacher must meet the following requirements to be appointed to this grade:
i. be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Head teacher at T-Scale 8 (C3);
ii. have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
iii. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and
iv. meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
SENIOR TEACHER II (C2/ T-SCALE 7) – 89 POSTS REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT ADVERT NO. 40/2023:
A teacher must meet the following requirements to be appointed to this grade:
i. be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Head teacher at T-Scale 6 (C1);
ii. have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
iii. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and
iv. meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
NOTE:
a) Throughout the application procedure, applicants must attach the letter of deployment to the current responsibility.
b) Before being given consideration for appointment, successful candidates in the interviews must provide current Chapter 6 documents.
