TSC to Favour the Following Teachers in Issuing Promotions
TSC to Favour the Following Teachers in Issuing Promotions. Primary and higher school teachers who are 45 years old or older have a better chance of being promoted to the next work group.
TSC boss Nancy Macharia said teachers who participated in the interviews will start receiving their interview results this week.
Successful teachers will begin receiving Teachers Service Commission (TSC) promotion letters this week.
However, details of the TSC result sheets show that teachers aged 45 and above scored highly and are most likely to be sent promotion letters starting this week.
In the primary and post-primary school teacher result sheets, those aged 45 to 49 were given nine clean marks because of their age.
This puts them far ahead of their junior competitors. Another group of teachers to be confirmed are those in acting positions.
