The University of Nairobi has officially launched its portal for official/internal faculty transfers. All students who wish to change the first course/faculty they have accepted can now use this window.
a. Government sponsored students
University of Nairobi / Faculty 2022 Transfer Schedule
1. Make sure your fees are paid before making an Inter/Faculty Transfer request.
2. Faculty fee / Tuition Kshs. 1000/- to Absa PLC Kenya Account Details below.

3. Show your receipt to the cashier in Room G4 in the main campus. Make sure that the interfaculty transfer fee is shown on the receipt.
4. Submit your request for faculty/internship through Student Portalhttp://smis.uonbi.ac.ke
5 Please allow at least two weeks for inter/faculty transfer processing.
6. Continue to check the status of your faculty transfer request through the student portal.
7. If successful, after your application STATUS is shown as IN PROCESS, collect the printed Inter/Faculty transfer letter from your current faculty.
NB: Only students who meet the cut off marks will be considered.
b. MODULE II / COMBINED STUDENTS

1. Write a letter to the Academic Accountant:
i) Your current Dean / Director
ii) Dean/Director of the School/Faculty/Institute to be transferred.
2. Pay the specified fee and post the payment receipt.
3. Scan and email to your school/faculty/processing agency.
