The Medical College of Kenya is certainly a leading institution that prides itself on producing competent personnel in its medical courses.
KMTC has several campuses across the country with different courses.
It is usually held twice a year: in March and September.
KMTC courses range from Certificate to Diploma. The college also offers advanced diploma courses and short courses.
Below is the KMTC fee structure for diploma students. Like other higher education institutions, the college is open to regular and sponsored students.
All students are provided with practical applications, research, etc. in the applied faculty. It is recommended to take measures yourself to cover the cost in time.
All students are encouraged to pay the annual fee in full at the beginning of the academic year, but may pay earlier or before the beginning of the 2nd month.
All students must be vaccinated against hepatitis B and typhoid before entering college and must present a valid vaccination certificate from an accredited health facility upon entry.
Every student must have NHIF cover or show a copy of their parent’s NHIF card for college admission.
Students pursuing diplomas in public health nursing and clinical medicine pay an additional fee of Kshs. 1,500.00 in cash. 2750.00 each for Skills Lab Manuals and Materials.
The fee is paid in two installments, i.e. at the beginning of the semester

Items such as registration fees, Library and ICT services and Student ID are payable in the first semester only. They pay Ksh 80,700.00 and Ksh 120,700.00 PA respectively for the first year in the regular and self-sponsored program to KMTC.
