KUCCPS Updated Courses for A Plain and A- (Minus) Students in KCSE 2022
KUCCPS Updated Courses for A Plain and A- (Minus) Students in KCSE 2022. The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has issued an update on the application of courses for KCSE candidates in 2022.
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service’s CEO is Mercy Wahome (KUCCPS). Candidates with grades of A or A- (minus) will be given advantage when selecting courses, according to her statement.
Students who earned an A or an A- (minus) can enroll in any program, according to Wahome.
Mercy Wahome added that these applicants could choose to apply for anything under the categories of science and art.
Since the A and A- (minus) students will be given priority, those applicants who managed to earn C+ (Plus) and above to B+ (plus) will be limited to cluster points.
The rest of the students will not be able to enroll in the in-demand courses due to their grades because only the A (plain) and A- (minus) students will have taken competitive courses.
Since the KCSE results were announced at the beginning of this year, the application portal has been long overdue. The CEO, Mercy Wahome, mentioned the plans to open it soon.
She said that when the portal opens, all stakeholders would be notified via the website and other social media accounts.

The CEO has urged the candidates to choose courses they are interested about in collaboration with their professional teachers.
After the prior declaration that only 2022 candidates will be qualified to apply for the undergraduate programs, Dr. Mercy Wahome issued this declaration.
Only candidates who completed their KCSE in the year prior to selection are eligible to apply for an online degree. Mercy Wahome stated on March 22, 2023, “You were expected to submit an application for a degree program when we launched the application portal last year.
So, it has been requested that everyone running for 2022 cool off. Any rumors that the application portal has been activated should be disregarded. They should therefore wait for the placement service’s formal notification.
