After three years, teachers in charge of elementary schools in grade B5 are automatically promoted to grade C1. These primary school teachers are known as Primary Teachers I and teach students in grades C1 and below.
According to the Teachers Service Commission, primary school teachers are not always promoted from job category C1 to C2. For primary school teachers, C2 is a promotional grade.
Additionally, it serves as the prerequisite for these teachers to be hired for administrative jobs. Primary school teachers are highly sought after and entry into this job grade is typically contingent on openings.
Once positions are announced, candidates must submit their applications online in order to be considered for this job group. The candidate must have spent at least three years working in job group C1. The applicant must also possess at least a diploma.
Secondary Teacher II refers to diploma-holding secondary school teachers. Once three years have passed since their deployment, these teachers are automatically promoted to grade C2.
