Requirements and Online Application for TSC Junior Secondary Deployment. Do you want to move from teaching P1 to a junior secondary school?

Please be advised that the site is up and running right now, and that online applications for deployment are accepted. The Commission has stated that the application procedure would end on February 6, 2023.

If you would like to submit your information online to Teachers Service Commission (TSC) for the deployment procedure, please use the URL https://tsconline.tsc.go.ke/tsc-teacher/login.

If you meet the requirements, you can apply for deployment from Primary to Junior Secondary School (JSS).

Use this link https://tsconline.tsc.go.ke/tsc-teacher/login to apply and fill out the necessary information for the portal.

NOTE:

Only teachers serving under P&P in public primary schools who meet requisite qualifications are encouraged to apply.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION FOR DEPLOYMENT

1. At least a C+ (Plus) mean grade at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent

2. At least grade C+ (Plus) in the two teaching subjects at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent

3. At least 8 Units in each of the two teaching subjects

4. Must be serving as a primary school teacher under TSC
