TSC Promotion Results 2024 Set To Be Audited Thoroughly
TSC Promotion Results 2024 Set To Be Audited Thoroughly. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has received a formal request from the Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) to investigate the promotion results for audit purposes following repeated protests by teachers.
KNUT says the commission should relax all interview rules for instructors interviewed in December 2023 and January 2024.
KNUT’s demand is matched by a number of teachers who have persistently asked for an explanation of the same to help them understand the expectations.
The TSC list of successful teacher candidates for promotion was originally released through advertisement number 31/2023 – 40/2023, the promotion list which teachers find strange, teachers request TSC to clearly inform the correct results.
Following this outrage, the commission issued another list, calling the original one fraudulent and false.
The teachers noticed a correlation between the list that appeared in the legitimate TSC ad (46/2023 to 61/2023) and some of the TSC numbers that appeared in the 31/2023-40/2023 ad.
The panel was also quick to condemn bloggers for publishing false findings.
The teachers’ union KNUT believes employers of promoted instructors are withholding certain information.
KNUT therefore questions why the commission does not list the actual names to match the instructors’ TSC numbers that are published for audit purposes.
According to KNUT, there is a good possibility that even the identity of the deceased teachers will be included in the merit list if the real names of the selected candidates are not disclosed along with their TSC numbers.
The KNUT expressed teachers’ concerns and complaints about the reluctance of the TSC to release the names of shortlisted candidates for audit purposes.
Teachers also reported that some very recent TSC numbers and some very old TSC numbers were displayed on the lists, which raised serious concerns.
The result lists of successful candidates and TSC Promotions should also be seen by the instructors as this is the only method to ensure that all marks are fair after the audit.
