Wasted Term One For JSS Learners 2023. A junior secondary term that was not used has had a significant negative impact on the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) project.
According to The Standard Publication, junior secondary students currently staying home from school provide them less time to study.
On the other side, other schools had a shortage of teachers, which prevented them from teaching certain courses and preventing students from learning anything. Another big obstacle that all students had to get beyond in order to succeed in their studies was a lack of textbooks.
However, the pupils have survived the first term’s storm of difficulties; how then is the government ready to deal with the problems junior secondary and, in particular, the CBC Program, are facing?
