Former Interior CS Fred Matiangi Finally speaks Out At The Late Magoha’s Home. Fred Matiangi, a former interior cabinet secretary, has finally spoken out for the first time, cautioning President William Ruto against criticizing the late Uhuru Kenyatta every time he visits the nation and asserting that Uhuru has completed his mandate.
“Stop blaming his excellency Uhuru Kenyatta for your failures. He has served this country, and you wanted power. Now that you have it, why are you still blaming Uhuru Kenyatta for everything? You are daring us too much, and we will not agree with you this time around. “You have your time; work for the people,” he said.
Matiangi, who was speaking when he visited the home of former Education Cabinet Secretary the late Prof. George Mahoga, has always asked the Kenya Kwanza administration to respect the rule of law, adding that they know exactly what happened during the August elections but have been very silent about it.
“Even if they walk here and there telling us how they won the August polls, We know exactly what happened, although we have decided to be silent. “Let them respect the rule of law,” he added.
Matiangi also highlighted and attributed the work of the late Prof. George Magoha saying that he was committed and hardworking.
“Prof. Magoha was so dedicated that he made his own trip to Uganda. Considering diverse systems in the area, we believed we could take a leaf here and there. He was so committed to what was so close that he made the trip himself. I don’t want hearsay, he declared. He came here, presented the report with a critique of what we would do, and we had a great time reconstructing the education sector, which was both a challenging and enjoyable endeavor.”
Matiang’i continued by highlighting how the late Magoha transformed the sector by managing initiatives like the National Education Information Management System (NIEMS)
